Funeral Bagpiper: Goodbye, God Bless, Ethel Vera Dahlgren PDF Print E-mail
Scottish Pipes & Drums says goodbye, and celebrates the life of Ethel Vera Dahlgren, 98 1/2 years old.
Scottish Pipes & Drums said goodbye and helped celebrate the life of Ethel on Apriil 9th.  Ethel was tough.  She was raised on a farm, grew her own food, and made things happen through inner strength and determination.

Her husband sold War Bonds until his early death, and Ethel went on to build B17s and B25s for the War Effort up in Minneapolis/St. Paul.  Quality Assurance was guaranteed by ensuring each technician was on the maiden voyage of every plane!

Ethel invented a rubberised  grommet system to handle wiring shorts caused by engine vibration.  A patent held by Honeywell for many years.
